Richard A. Herrera – licensed by the State of California as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser who is FHA approved – has a BA degree with a specialization in Economics from San Diego State University. Richard has been accepted as an expert witness in the Municipal and Civil Court Systems, and is also among the limited number of real estate appraisers holding the MAI designation.
With 28 years experience in real estate valuation and consultation, his market and investment appraisals include the following land uses: residential (existing and proposed), condominiums (existing and proposed), residential income property (small income to mid-rise apartment complexes), commercial retail (stand alone, strip and neighborhood centers), office (condominium to mid-rise buildings), hotel/motel (limited-service to resort, franchised and non-franchised), industrial (owner-user and multi-tenant), mobile home parks, and land appraisals (fee simple and leased fee).
Richard has more than 25 years appraisal experience analyzing a wide variety of real estate ownerships and land uses. Although the focus of work has been in Southern California, he has appraised in Arizona, Nevada and Utah.
